Ralph W. Austin

Ralph has developed expertise in commercial and residential real estate and business law after more than 40 years of practice in Maine. He has successfully represented individuals and small businesses on complex commercial and residential projects, with a depth of experience in presenting before zoning and planning boards. He advises numerous small businesses on organizational and financing matters.
Ralph has devoted considerable time to and served in leadership positions with a wide range of professional and community organizations. He is well-respected within the legal profession after having served as president of the York County Bar Association, Maine State Bar Association, Maine Bar Foundation, New England Bar Association, and New England Bar Foundation, as well as being Maine State Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the National Conference of Bar Presidents and on the Board of the National Judicature Society. For the Town of Kennebunk, Ralph has chaired the Planning Board, Downtown Revitalization Committee, Charter Commission, and Budget Board, along with involvement on other committees such as the Comprehensive Plan Committee. Ralph was a founding board member of Make-A-Wish Maine, where he served as Board Chair, before being appointed to the Chapter Performance Committee for Make-A-Wish America. He was honored by Make-A-Wish Maine as Board Member Emeritus, where he once again serves the children of Maine and their families.
