Keith R. Jacques
Retired
Keith built a diverse practice, and has been a highly respected civil trial lawyer for more than 35 years. He has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial cases, and personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, business and contract disputes. The American Trial Lawyers Association selected him as one of Maine’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and New England Super Lawyers has selected him annually as a member.
Keith has represented individuals, small businesses and large companies in a wide variety of commercial matters. He has served as City Solicitor for the City of Biddeford, Maine since 2004. He is frequently asked to arbitrate and mediate civil disputes.
A lifelong resident of Maine, Keith was very active in many legal and community organizations. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association. He was a Director at Biddeford Savings and Maine Community Bank., and a Director at the Southern Maine Finance Agency. He is a former Trustee of the University of New England and the York County Community College Foundation. Keith also has served as Chair and Public Sector Member of the NCAA Division III Committee on Infractions, and he was a Corporator at Sweetser Children’s Services. His many other community leadership positions include Past President of the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club and the Northern York County YMCA.
